Tranmere 2 U's 1 - Durham's View Mon 02nd Dec 2013 19:18
After an encouraging week with a draw at high flying Preston and an excellent win against the Franchise, I drove to Tranmere hoping for only the U's second win at Prenton Park in 26 years. I saw the 4-3 some years ago.
Bristol City 1 U's 1 - Durham's View Tue 01st Oct 2013 19:55
The U's failed to clip both Robin's wings at Ashton Gate. As JD celebrated one year in charge of his Colchester charges, they did their best to secure a much needed win, but fell just short.
Bristol City 1 U's 1 - Noah's View Mon 30th Sep 2013 12:10
I first arrived at Layer Road as a Bristol City follower, but a mercenary-like instinct of 'support your local team' meant that I was instantly converted. It wasn't quite like Paul's conversion on the road to Damascus as it was initially a question of loving my football and common sense economics. Also Scott McGleish certainly wasn't any cherubic angel, but how I wish he was still strapping on his boots and leading the U's line today, or any number of others that followed in his footsteps.
U's 1 Crawley 1 - Noah's View Mon 23rd Sep 2013 11:05
Eight league matches completed, two wins, four draws, league points ten, the U's position a healthy mid-table twelfth, despite being the pundit's relegation favourites. A year in office just completed by Joe Dunne with the relatively novice gaffer still enjoying the confidence of most fickle of fans. Results to date include a 1-1 home draw against Crawley, and an earlier 1-1 away draw against Sheffield United, the Blades today being just a point from the bottom of the table.
